Corvallis friends Renee and Leigh joined us at Helser's on Alberta this morning for breakfast. Great food for what a grated cheddar omelette costs at lots of so-called "breakfast spots" that are popular in towns all over this country. Leigh had the Louisiana hot sausage scramble wrap, Nancy the potato pancakes, Renee went for eggs Benedict, and I opted for the heart healthy bacon cheddar Yukon gold hash with poached eggs--pictured below.
